ICC ODI Rankings Babar Azam replaces Shubman Gill as No. 1 batter, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma remain in top 4

Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has replaced Indian nature Shubman Gill to recapture the number one position in the rearmost ICC ODI rankings for batsmen, blazoned on Wednesday. The change in the rankings passed as a result of Gill's absence from the ongoing One- Day International series against South Africa. Babar presently holds the top spot with an emotional 824 standing points, while Gill is a close alternate with 810 points. Babar's poor caching in the first Test against Australia, which Pakistan lost by 360 runs, saw him drop from fourth to fifth place( 801 standing points). In the Perth Test, he contributed 21 runs in the first innings and 14 runs in the alternate innings. With 864 standing points, Kane Williamson maintains his lead in the Test batsmen rankings.
