India's Bellatrix successfully tests electric satellite engine, green energy in space

Bengaluru- grounded Bellatrix Aerospace has successfully validated its slice- edge Rudra and Arka propulsion systems to be working in the harsh conditions of space. The two loads were launched aboard the Indian Space Research Organisation's( Isro) PSLV- C58 mission on January 1. The Rudra green propulsion system represents a revolutionary shift from traditional poisonous forces like hydrazine to anon-toxic, high- performance volition. Thiseco-friendly fuel isn't only safer but also aligns with transnational sweats to reduce the environmental footmark of space disquisition. The Rudra system is particularly suited for satellite operations that demand high thrust, offering a cleanser result without compromising performance. Completing Rudra's capabilities, the Arka electric machine is another phenomenon from Bellatrix Aerospace. Unlike conventional propulsion systems that calculate on chemical responses, Arka uses electricity to induce thrust. This approach results in superior energy effectiveness and enhanced control, enabling satellites to operate longer and maneuver more precisely. The Arka machine is acclimatized for operations where effectiveness is consummate. Bellatrix Aerospace's CEO & CTO,Mr. Rohan M Ganapathy, expressed satisfaction with the performance of both systems in space, which met all design specifications. The successful operation of Rudra was substantiated by the observed relegation of the Lyric- 3 platform, while Arka's ignition and functioning were verified through onboard detector data. These results validate the systems' performance, mirroring ground test issues. Isro conceded Bellatrix Aerospace's confirmation of the Rudra green propulsion system and Arka electric machines, marking a significant stride towards environmentally friendly satellite technology. " Isro's Lyric platform enables an Indian space start- up to validate its invention. Bellatrix Aerospace validates Rudra green propulsion system and Arka electric machines, towards satellite operations witheco-friendly tech. Time to rejoice the success of Indian invention!" the Indian space agency said in an update.
