Bruno Mars fails to top Billboard's chart

Bruno Mars failed to knock country star Taylor Swift off the Billboard throne this week.

Mars' second album "Unorthodox Jukebox," debuted in the No. 2 slot with 192,000 copies sold, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.

Swift's latest album, "Red," held on to the No. 1 position this week with sales of 208,000. This was its fifth non-consecutive week at the top of the chart since it was released in October.

Hip-hop artist The Game entered the chart at No. 6 with his fifth studio album, "Jesus Piece," selling 86,000 copies. One Direction's "Take Me Home" was in the fourth slot with 127,000 sold.

Filling out the top five were Michael Buble's "Christmas" at No. 3 and Rod Stewart's "Merry Christmas Baby" at No. 5. Two more holiday albums -- Blake Shelton's "Cheers, It's Christmas" and Lady Antebellum's "On This Winter's Night" -- were in the top 10.
