Indian Railways to set up finance management institute
The railways is going to set up its training institute to impart training to its officials.For this an Indian Railway Institute of Financial Management will be set up in Secunderabad.
The training officers will be imparted training to improve finance and accounting skills so as to make them efficient and effective with integrity.. The state-run transporter will also start a specialized programme to depute middle-level finance officers abroad for training.
Vijaya Kanth, Financial Commissioner, Indian Railways, said this while celebrating Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) day.
Vijaya Kanth said this type of training is imperative to keep pace with the developments in the world.
